Vara

Terms of Service

Effective 22 July 2026

The short version

Vara turns your speech and text into an editable whiteboard. Your content stays yours, use the service lawfully and fairly, AI output can be wrong, and the beta is provided as-is. The long version follows.

1. Agreement

Vara (vara.ajmalaksar.com) is operated by Ajmal Aksar (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Vara you agree to these terms and to the Privacy & Data Protection Notice. You must be 18 or older.

2. The service

Vara converts speech, text, and imported content into whiteboard visuals using third-party AI models. It is under active development (“beta”): features may change, and output quality varies. AI-generated boards can be incomplete or wrong — review anything important before relying on it.

3. Your account and fair use

  • Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • The free tier has a monthly allowance and burst limits, enforced automatically. We may adjust limits to keep the service healthy and may throttle or suspend accounts that abuse them (automation, scraping, resale, or circumvention).
  • Don’t use Vara to create or process content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful, and don’t attempt to breach or probe the service’s security.

4. Your content

You own the boards you make and the content you submit. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service — storing your workspace, sending your input to our AI providers to generate your board, and syncing it across your devices. We don’t sell your content or use it to train models. Delete your account any time from the account page; deletion is permanent.

5. Our content

Vara’s software, name, and design are ours. These terms don’t grant you rights to them beyond using the service.

6. Warranties and liability

Vara is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on AI output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (zero on the free tier), to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

7. Termination

You can stop using Vara or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 4–6 survive termination for content processed before it.

8. Changes and governing law

If these terms change materially we’ll flag it in the app with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Kerala, India have jurisdiction.

9. Contact

Questions, complaints, anything: support@vara.ajmalaksar.com.
